Ugh, yet another series of articles where diversity is a synonym for black. I don’t why (though there are cynical guesses) these types of articles aren’t just written with titles and slugs that represent their content. They most certainly are not going to use stats based on Asian or Latino or American Indian or Jewish or or foreign or any diversity of populations, much less mixes. Nothing wrong with writing about (lack of) black populations in West coast or progressive cities, but it may make the desired point of the article a little harder to make.Report
