  2. They’re (intentionally) pulpy as all get-out, and he’s honestly just phoning it in by the end, but Simon R. Green’s Deathstalker series is fantastic space-opera fun with sword-fighting and zombies and castles alongside hyperdrives and AIs. Also, Dune.Report
