If you ask me, the scenes where Lyta is both in this world and in that one are as well done as anything we’ve yet seen. It’d be very easy to leap to the conclusion that she’s nuts if we hadn’t seen even crazier things happen.

In any case, there are plenty more opportunities for us to argue over use of the phrase “in reality” coming up in The Kindly Ones. Next week we will be reading Chapters 6 and 7. Our own Mike Schilling has graciously taken Chapter 6. We need someone for Chapter 7.

It has also come up that some wish to have a place where they can yell “DIBS!” I suppose this is as good a place to yell “dibs!” as any. (One should also keep in mind that just because someone yelled “DIBS!” on your favorite book, the one that you were hoping to recap, know that you can still submit one. We’ll read and argue over that one too.) Dibs, so far:
