Ordinary Times’ Andrew Donaldson on The Young Turks “Indisputable” with Dr. Rashad Richey

Em was one of those argumentative children who was sarcastically encouraged to become a lawyer, so she did. She is a proud life-long West Virginian, and, paradoxically, a liberal. In addition to writing about society, politics and culture, she enjoys cooking, podcasts, reading, and pretending to be a runner. She will correct your grammar. You can find her on Twitter.

Neither our own Andrew Donaldson nor Dr. Richey are lawyers but the level of discussion about the origins, limits, and procedural restrictions on OSHA’s rulemaking authority are very high in this conversation. An impressive exchange, one I wish I’d listened too earlier than today.

Also: for those of you who are interested in Constitutional law or the possibility of practicing law before SCOTUS, THIS is the sort of thing that is really practiced — agency rulemaking and compliance with the Administrative Procedures Act.Report
