It likely didn’t dominate the national news because there were no victims save for the shooter himself, but a gunman recently opened fire at a large mall just a few minutes from where I grew up; a mall I frequented regularly as a teenager and still go to from time to time. Freakier still… the guy grew up in my town, went to my high school, and delivered pizzas for one of my favorite joints in town.
Thankfully, no one was harmed.
