Delirium
There are worse things in life than spending a Friday night playing poker with a guy who distributes beer & wine for a living.
Delirium Tremens, is what I’m saying. Even when you lose, you win.

Truly among the most aptly-named of beers. I need to find some again.Report
Sounds like a wonderful night. I haven’t had the Nocturnal… I’m a bit intimidated. I had the Christmas brew, which is a bit too sweet for me, but had a really interesting and complex taste.
Have you had it on tap? A handful of bars in NYC have it… always a treat.Report
I’ve had it on tap. Out of a giant glass boot. At Cafe Delirium in Brussels. With a crazy ass Aussie electrician egging me on. No, I cannot tell you how I caught my flight the next morning. But I did.
All of which is to say that Delirium Tremens is indeed a wonderful, magical brew.
Not to brag or anything.Report
Das boot? OF DELIRUM!?!?
