This is when I wish I was Canadian (of a certain persuasion).Report
@Michael Drew, Oh? Why? And of which persuasion?Report
@North, The French-Canadian persuasion. I’m not great with languages; wish I had gotten off easy with a bilingual background form early on (not saying that’s where Jason got his skills).Report
@Michael Drew,
I went to a public elementary school, but it was somewhat unusual in that students could voluntarily take extra courses if they came to school early. One of them was French, which I started in I believe second grade. I’ve kept with it ever since, including living a year in Paris during my dissertation research, which was done entirely in French as well.Report
