Heavenly!
This is probably Arcangelo Corelli’s most famous piece, his Christmas Concerto. Corelli came a generation before the more familiar Baroque composers like Bach, Vivaldi, and Handel, and his music sounds a bit more “ancient”: thinner arrangements, and less varied in tone. This piece, though called a concerto, is for a small string ensemble, hardly what we’d call a chamber orchestra.
