I’m not sure about the West going to China or many of his absurd positions. On the other hand the US isn’t too big to fail. Our political systems aren’t working. When the Federal Government takes more than it can give, I’m sure that it will end.Report
There’s a much more interesting Russian emigre predicting US collapse named Dmitry Orlov. I read his book (called Reinventing Collapse). Juan Enriquez has been discussing (from his Latin American perspective) the prospective for an IMF restructuring of the US dollar. Orlov’s book talks about how to deal with the collapse which is much more interesting than just apocalyptic self-flagellation.Report
