bad craziness indeed
I guess I just don’t understand this kind of hatred. I just don’t understand it.
Matthew 22:37-40, “Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.”
And as Charles Johnson puts it:
Some right wing blogs are closing comments on threads about the murder, and judging from the vile, sick stuff you see above, that’s probably a good idea.
This is very, very bad craziness, at its worst. Shame on all you people who are gloating and partying over a murder that took place inside a church. And you call yourselves “Christians?” What the hell is wrong with you?
It’s the equivalent of the Palestinians dancing after 9/11.
And yet one can still find people explaining how that footage was faked, and, anyway, the Palestinians had legitimate grievances and we certainly condemn the violence committed and mourn the loss of innocent life, but there is a list of legitimate grievances that, had they been addressed in a timely manner, could have prevented this tragedy.
If you still cannot understand that kind of hatred, I suppose I could try to come up with another analogy…Report
