I’d say it’s a bit beyond, or at least different than, NSFW – it’s not because of foul language or exposed naughty bits, which it actually didn’t have (at least through the portion I watched). The opening sequence in this one was, imo, Not Safe For Breakfast.Report
Right, sorry should have been more clear. Vice regularly contains material that is non-work-safe (language, nudity, drug use). So even if the video itself were 100% fluffy bunnies, you should probably warn people if you are sending them over to Vice, as a general rule of thumb.

Really? That wasn’t the vibe I got from it at all. Romney’s relatives and former brethren come off as the good guys and the criticism of Romney is that his policy proposals are hurting them (rather than being in their interest).
Anyway, I actually found the political thesis to be less interesting than the story told.Report

There are no allegations I am aware of that George Romney’s parents were both American citizens. As such, he was an American citizen. Some interpretations are that he was not “Naturally Born” (as with McCain) but his basic citizenship was not in question (ergo, no “anchor baby” necessary).
Vice’s theory is actually that the Mexican branch of his family is actually one of the reasons he’s as ardent on the subject as he is. The same could arguably be applied to SSM (if he were to come out in support of it, some would argue that it’s “really about polygamy”) though I think the reasons are more banal than that. As it stands, he belongs to a religion that does not believe in plural marriage.Report

It doesn’t. Honestly, trying to stir up anti-Mormon sentiment against Romney is no better than trying to use race against Obama. Stick with what Romney himself believes, when it’s relevant to his policy. What distantly-connected Mormons believe and do isn’t pertinent, and trying to make it so is skeevy.Report
