Saturday!
So I read about this game called “The Shivah” coming out on Steam in which you play a disillusioned Rabbi who has been implicated in a murder. How do you *NOT* buy that? Anyway, so far, I’ve had two major interactions with two different people. In one, I’ve reconciled myself with the wife of the guy who got murdered (it seems that he and I had a falling out a few years back… huh) and got myself thrown out of a synagogue after getting into a rabbinical “do you think I won’t be able to answer a question with a better question?” fight with a rabbi.
Seriously, under normal circumstances? I would *NEVER* go to that synagogue.
Anyway, it’s one of the most interesting adventure games I’ve played in a long, long while and Maribou enjoyed sitting next to me as I played the first hour or so. If you’re finding yourself saying “how come I never play a disillusioned rabbi anymore?”, you need to pick up The Shivah.
So… what are you playing?
Wadjet Eye Games (who made The Shivah) is good stuff! I think that was one of their first games, and my wife and I have been playing their Blackwell games (4 out now, 5th coming out next year). You control both a girl and a ghost who try to help other spirits move on. It’s real fun stuff and we’ve been enjoying it.Report
The Day of the Doctor is today. Who needs games?Report
This is a whole other level of gaming that I don’t quite comprehend but I enjoy these posts nonetheless. As for what I am playing, my poor xBox has been collecting dust for months. I’m hoping to finally get around to Batman Arkham City over the holidays. And maybe the new Call of Duty will pull me out of my slump.Report
