  1. That may be the strongest endorsement I can make of the book: like falling in love, it leaves you with an insatiable hunger for more of itself, and a sad fulfillment when it ends, as it inevitably must.

    1. I didn’t see the Damon/Foster flick. If the previews were any indication, then this is a different story altogether. AFAIK, Bissett’s book was released in November, so that would make the timing hard.Report

      1. Got it. It didn’t seem like it based on the description but the books’ cover invoked similar imagery and there seemed to be enough threads connecting the two that it could have been a very lose adaptation.Report
