Saturday!
You may or may not know that Mister Freeze was a forgotten Batman villain there for a while. He was yet another of DC’s ice-themed bad guys (Captain Cold, The Icicle, Killer Frost) and after he showed up in the Batman television show, he pretty much was allowed to lay fallow for a few decades. (If you read the Animal Man books written by Grant Morrison, you’ll see Animal Man walk through a wasteland that contains forgotten characters such as The Inferior Five. Mister Freeze is one of the characters Animal Man talks to and Mister Freeze gives a short monologue about how he’d be a good bad guy to bring back.)
Anyway, in 1992, Batman: The Animated Series dug up Mister Freeze, gave him a new origin story, and HOLY COW. Grant Morrison was right.
Anyway, in this little DLC add-on, you play through as Batman right after Mister Freeze’s origin story begins (and about a week after the story of Arkham Origins ends). You have a handful of interactions with the reborn Victor Fries, investigate the crime scene that gave him his new abilities, and tackle a handful of familiar faces along the way.
If you’ve been waiting *FOREVER* for Batman: Arkham Knight, this little trifle of a DLC will tide you over for a handful of hours. I’m enjoying the heck out of it.
So… what are you playing?

All the women in my immediate and extended family have become addicted to Trivia Crack. It’s fun to watch. I am tempted to jump on the wagon just to make my mom happy.Report
