I thought we needed an open thread. But I wanted it to be *FUNKY*.
If you have something dope, this is where to drop it.

Friends and I once tried to decide what was the most likable music around. The finalists were Dire Straits, George Clinton, and Stevie Ray Vaughn. To make a long story short, everal participating individuals felt Dire Straits could be boring and Stevie Ray Vaughn could be masturbatory, but you had to be insane to actively dislike George Clinton.Report
I’ve found that even when people don’t like George Clinton, they hedge and say something like “I don’t get it”.
I can’t see this happening with either Dire Straits or Stevie Ray Vaughn.Report
