  1. Actually, I’ve more been wondering why you haven’t been commenting on the contraception imbroglio, given that you have said that freedom of religion is one of your areas of particular personal (if not professional) interest in the law.

    But now I understand!Report

    1. Yes, and I’ve had some personal issues in real life.

I’ve a lot of catching up to do in order to make sure I don’t cover already-resolved territory before jumping in late to the game on both points. But, on the other hand, I can assure you that Vegas rocks.Report

      1. Of course, Burt.  I wasn’t really wondering.  I actually wanted to tell you that I was just simply AMAZED at the amount of writing you produced immediately after returning from what sounds like a draining experience that took you away from your work for an extended period – when you must have been just swamped on returning to the office.  Not just extensive, but of striking clarity.  The piece on communication in hospitals had a kind of burning fluency to it that seemed it like it must have been born of an anger in need of expurgation.  Indeed, that need was probably the only thing that brought that piece into existence, but it was still remarkable to read it knowing everything that must have been going on in the background while you wrote it.

And yes, Vegas is pretty sweet.  I wish I could join you all, but it just won’t work this year.  Leaguefest 201?, however, here I come!Report
