  1. We had a pizza shop up my way that served it Sicilian style for awhile. It was GOOD pizza. Closed up shop while I was living out of the valley. Sinking your teeth into that thick crust was awesome. I only know of one shop that has the grease cup pepperoni, it’s in PA and it’s super thin crust…nothing to write about for sure. But hey, it’s PIZZA!Report

    1. Maybe. Muriales is another, it’s the “fancy” Italian place in Fairmont that’s been there for years. Colosessanos was just carry out pizza and pepperoni buns until recent years. Report

  2. As my hypertension slowly comes under control and I can work a bit more salty stuff back into my diet…well, some day I want to try to make pepperoni rolls at home. I live 1000 miles from W Va so unless I mail-ordered and paid for express shipping I couldn’t have the real thing, but if I remember correctly, there was a recipe in an issue of “Cook’s Country” magazine a while back, and they seem to strive for authenticity, so…

The only deep-dish type pizza I’ve had was Noble Roman’s as a teen, I remember liking that pretty well but I don’t know how authentic it was.Report
