Saturday!
I *DID* manage to pick up “Cook, Serve, Delicious”, the “hardcore restaurant sim” for four bucks and, golly, that took me back to the restaurant even though we weren’t a greasy spoon kinda place. You start off with a zero star restaurant (Corn dogs! Yay!) and have to work your way up to making stuff like lasagna.
So far, my toughest burger was one that didn’t want bacon. The customer ended up getting it anyway. I admit to not understanding the order.
Of course, the drinks that don’t want ice are confusing too.
Anyway, if you’re looking for a surprisingly difficult game for four bucks that will remind you of that duration you worked at a restaurant, this will probably do the trick.
Oooh! And Game Dev Tycoon is only 4 bucks! That game was totally worth that! And Papers Please is only five bucks? And Walking Dead, Season 2 is half off??? Man, I need to go to Costco…
So… what are you playing?
EA has made Titanfall free to play for 48 hours. I spent a few moments last night going through the tutorial part. I hadn’t realized the game is multiplayer only.Report
I’ve been playing Meon on my phone. It’s a good game that’s not time-sensitive, so I can kind of chip away at it bit at a time unlike Temple Run and the like. I am thinking about going back to Angry Birds after (I wish it would syncronize progress…)Report
But how does it stack up against BurgerTime?Report
Burger Time
And the french fries are greasy
Cheese is a-meltin’
The patty is fine
The catsup’s thick
And the mustard is spicy
So c’mon, baby
Take a bite.Report
@Jaybird have you ever played Bastion?Report
