Numberwang!Report
Maybe my least favorite sketch from the show, but a perfect application of its concept to real life. Well-done.Report
Yeah, I had a reaction of “ha ha that was funny once, but why are you repeating this sketch every episode?”.
And then a few years later I saw an episode of “:Countdown” and all of a sudden everything made sense.Report
Pages in a book of some kind.Report
51 numbers, so I’m thinking about some measure applied to the states plus DC…Report
I think it’s where every state (plus DC) would rank if they were countries. My guess would be land area, since Alaska would slide right in at 18 between Libya and Iran and Texas slides in at 40 between Zambia and Burma.Report
And California slides in as #60, between Paraguay and Zimbabwe. Looks good to me.Report
Well that was short.Report
For anyone curious, the alternate listing for population that I was going to use as a hint, was:
34, 46, 61, 62, 76, 78, 79, 94, 96, 97, 102, 106, 114, 116, 117, 119, 121, 128, 129, 131, 134, 137, 140, 142, 144, 151, 155, 156, 159, 164, 167, 168, 171, 172, 174, 177, 184, 185, 191, 192, 193, 195, 201, 202, 203, 207, 212, 213, 214, 215, 218Report
And if needed, the next day do the same for GDP. Probably too easy at that point since everyone’s heard that California would be #7.Report
