In The First Circle Bookclub!

Last week, we decided that we needed to take a week off to let everyone catch up to Chapter 48 – The Double Agent (Chapter 43, in the Red Version).

In searching for various treatments of The First Circle, I really, really wanted to find a movie trailer for the 1991 versionbut my google-fu is either weak or there just isn’t one out there… which is too bad because, seriously, look at that cast list! Robert Powell (one of the great Jesuses), Christopher Plummer, F. Murray Abraham as Uncle Joe Himself. And the narrator? Some dude named Aleksandr Solzhenisyn! Alas, I was only able to find this little scene from Chapter 40 – A Rendezvous (Chapter 37 – The Visit). (Check it out after the cut.)
