Shameless Self-Promotion.

Going to take advantage of the higher education symposium to post another reminder of my Crowd-Funding project.

The confluence of rising costs in higher education and outdated immigration standards make it a challenge to self-fund your way through grad school as an international student. This is particularly true for master’s programs, though one might find as much in non-STEM doctoral programs.

The system’s broken when the likes of Pierce Morgan can get an EB-2 visa (which includes permanent residency!) but it’s hard for a student to not only raise funds, but to stay in the country after receiving education. I’ll be touching on high skilled immigration reform in the future, but for now this is a request for donations, however, small, to help keep one foreign student in the country!
