Well that was dark.Report
True. Coconut chocolate cereal sounds kind of good, tho.Report
I dislike coconutReport
Coconut seems to be a very polarizing foodstuff. Personally, I like it, but I have several friends who absolutely detest it. (And I know one person who is deathly allergic to it)Report
It was. Very effective as a parody of cereal commercials and sharp commentary on current affairs at the same time though.Report
I think one problem with this was that the wolf/Black man character was actual threatening the children in the cartoon though because he attempted to steal their cereal. This means that the white police officer was doing his job when he arrested the wolf even if the officer acted excessively. That makes it a bit less effective as commentary on excessive policing and police violence in African-American communities.Report
Whatever Donald Glover is after, I don’t think it’s that straight forward.Report
What do you think he is after?Report
I don’t know. But there is something candid, something brutally honest about this bit that goes well beyond whether it is “effective as commentary on excessive policing …”Report

Sigh.Report
