Video: Diane Fienstein vs The Children Edited & Director’s Cut
One day, America will learn to not start social media outrages over short clips of video. Today is not that day, as Senator Diane Feinstein and her team found out.
Wow! @SenFeinstein told a group of young people to go fly a kite because she knows so much more than they, she just won an election with 1 million votes, and when they run for Senate they can do it their way.
So much for listening to the people.

Of course the longer video provides a bit different context.
Here is the full @SenFeinstein @sunrisemvmt video. Almost 15 minutes. https://t.co/4QWsJ3nhcF

The tactic of putting children out in front of a cause is well established by now, and using it to create content for your cause on social media is not going to be going away anytime soon. Climate change and governments role in what to do about will continue to be contentious issues. Put it all together and you get a fine, modern, viral mess.
So, what say you?
You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain.
As for Memetics, I think this is like discovering radiation. Holy cow! This new science can do so very many things! (Dies of radiation poisoning.)
The people using this new Memetic science are amazed at the wonders they’re creating, but they’re not noticing the changes.Report

Heh, Difi shut them down pretty firmly. Good for her. Reassuring to know that at least one of the cylinders in the political engine is still firing.Report
