One day, America will learn to not start social media outrages over short clips of video. Today is not that day, as Senator Diane Feinstein and her team found out.

The tactic of putting children out in front of a cause is well established by now, and using it to create content for your cause on social media is not going to be going away anytime soon. Climate change and governments role in what to do about will continue to be contentious issues. Put it all together and you get a fine, modern, viral mess.
