  1. The Armenian vs. Calvinist dispute is one that used to cause me a fair amount of consternation.

    Not because I don’t see how they’re trying to resolve the Theodicy problem… that’s great that they wrestled and continue to wrestle with that.

    The Armenians in my immediate circle, however, were even more fundamentalist than the Calvinists and used their definitions of Free Will as leverage to explain such things as the possibility of loss of Salvation… and, from there, explain how so-and-so is no longer a Christian because they drink publicly.

    Which is, I suppose, not a criticism of Armenianism as much as Armenians.Report
