“The Apostate”
An Alternet article profiles “Ten Young Right-Wingers Being Prepped to Take Over the Conservative Movement“- #6 is E.D. Kain, who is “so goddamn reasonable as to be unquotable”. Erik- since nobody else here is in any position to take over the conservative movement, when you do, could you either snag us some funding or World Net Daily tee-shirts (whichever comes first)?
Congrats, E.D.! – though from reading the list, you’re not in very good company. 😉 Makes sense that the best of the young right-wingers would be someone who’s not actually right-wing. I mean, you’re not Yglesias but you’re miles from anything the Republicans would recognize as conservative.Report
Congrats E.D.!
However, from my perspective you’re stuck somewhere between the RINO’S and the Neocons but I love ya anyway.Report
@Robert Cheeks, Thanks Bob!Report
Congratulations! May I suggest more casual references to Hitler, Stalin, and/or Mao?Report
@Jaybird, How about all three?Report
That, or some willing Republican women. Does Erik have groupies yet?Report
Do I count?Report
@Katherine, I’m sure you count as a woman. Only you can say if you count as willing, Republican, or a Kain groupie.Report
Not Republican. Yes, an E.D. fan.Report
@Will, Heh.Report
Is Koz on the list?Report
@North, Only Koz gives America hope of restoring conservative fiscal sense to that list.Report
@Rufus, Win!Report
Thanks y’all. I’m certainly no right-winger. So it’s pretty funny to be on the list. But it’s cool. Whatever works!Report
@E.D. Kain,
Well, to be fair, this is AlterNet we’re talking about; if you’re against abortion and in favor of capitalism, you’re a “right-winger”.Report
