    Re Space: China filed an official complaint because their space station had to dodge some of Musk’s Starlink communications satellites. Imagine how frequent such maneuvers might become if he puts up the whole 12,000. Plus a couple of other companies building similar constellations.Report

  3. I was curious about the pic, since I don’t think I’d ever heard of the SF mag Marvel Science Stories. Wikipedia says it published a total of 15 issues in the late 30s and early 40s and then early 50s. The earlier run was known for being risque; in Isaac Asimov’s words “Clothes were always getting ripped off and breasts were described in a variety of elliptical phrases”. Pictured is the August 1938 cover, featuring Hour of Judgment by R. DeWitt Miller (I’ve never heard of him either.).Report
