Heavenly!
Bach wrote roughly a dozen keyboard concertos, and each is lovely in its own way. The selection below begins with my favorite, the cleverly titled BWV 1055, which is pure joy from beginning to end. This version is for piano, and while I usually prefer period instruments, I couldn’t resist the visual pleasure of Andrea Bacchetti, who appears to have studied the piano technique of Chico Marx.

That is, indeed, very nice. But your descriptions of the title and the playing style of Bacchetti’s playing style took my enjoyment to another level entirely.Report
