Saturday!
In Mario and Luigi Dream Team, I have awakened the Zeekeeper and am taking on Bowser’s castle. I’m pretty sure this is endgame… which, quite honestly, is due. It’s kinda time to switch genres. I’m thinking Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millenium Girl because it’s got that first person dungeon crawler thing going on… but when it comes to action RPGs, I think that the Mario/Luigi games for the DS/3DS are unmatched. These things are seriously amazing. It’s a pity that they aren’t available on the WiiU… because there are so many games for the DS that I wished I could play with real resolutions on a real controller.
Then again, I wouldn’t be able to take those games with me when I went to places like Maryland. Or breakfast, for that matter.
So… what are you playing?
I have been working on The Walking Dead: Season 1. I have about 1 and a half chapters left, as well as 400 Days. After that, I am not sure what I am going to move onto. I have way more options than I have time at the moment.Report
When you get to 400 days, please give a mini-review.
I’m scared to attempt it, due to fear of disappointment.Report
The winter migration of waterfowl finally landed in KY this weekend. Saw huge numbers of ducks and geese this morning. Hoping they settle in for the rest of the season.
I need to finish up Arkham City this weekend and tackle the Bioshock game I got from Santa.Report
Bought _Rocksmith 2014_ with guitar package for Aki (the kid) & I. She got a bass & amp for her 15th B-day, so she’s doing Bass track. I’m trying honestly to learn guitar, but hard to get time on the Xbox with her & Raven wanting to play their assorted Hack/Slash/Spellcast games. Got “Guitar for Dummies” book to supplement and I’m showing a little progress.Report
The JustinGuitar site and lessons seem to be often recommended as a companion to Rocksmith to help fill in the gaps.Report
We played four games of Small World Underground. I’m surprised that nobody really talked up the original Small World to me when it came out, because the mechanics are right up my alley. Well, unless Underground is substantively different from the original.Report
