…medicine, or at least dentistry. I was in the dentist chair today and thinking to myself how much worse this would be without things like novacaine and modern fillings and so forth. I was thinking about the alternatives – wooden teeth; gold teeth; no teeth. At one point in time, you could very well die from a bad tooth. Now it’s an hour of discomfort followed by one hell of a headache. Man. Now that the numb is gone, it’s just pain, pain, pain. Sheesh.
