  1. My sense is that Rubio “won”. Which is probably a good thing. While I am highly unlikely to vote R, I’m not off the mindset that it is preferable to “stack the deck”. I think Tednald Crump poses less threat to the Dem nominee but not no threat. Elections can be weird. And a Tednald Crump presidency would be a disaster.Report

  2. Christians are at RISK , The State, The Bible Belt! ISIS threat against Christians is REAL

DONALD J TRUMP will defend, protect, and Keep IOWA SAFE!!!
HE will not let IOWAN Evangelicals Down. He is straight forward and Genuine in his positions.
    VOTE #TRUMP 3016Report

  3. The races are surprisingly close. Cruz has a clear but narrow lead over Trump and Rubio. Trump will stick with it until NH but if he doesn’t win there, will drop out. Wonder how hard the establishment worked to get Rubio up to 23 percent.

HRC and Sanders are within the margin of error. Really down to the wire!!Report

  4. Here’s what strikes me as odd.

A few weeks back, Trump seemed to signal that he knew he wasn’t going to win Iowa. Well, less of a signal. More of a “neg”.

“You guys haven’t picked a winner in a long time, I hate to remind you,” Trump said. “This is the only place where it’s close. Come on, Iowa, will you get with it, please?”

That’s something that he could have run with. “I knew I wasn’t going to win Iowa. Now watch what happens in New Hampshire! You aren’t going to even begin to believe South Carolina!”Report
