Help an OG out

Our good friend and league founder Scott Payne is embarking on a new initiative, and he could use our help. He is applying for a new job with SumOfUs.org as their Canadian Campaign Manager. To stand out from your the crowd, Scott… well… I’ll let him tell you all:

A big part of what SumOfUs.org does is to run online campaigns to create, “a movement of consumers, workers and shareholders speaking with one voice to counterbalance the growing power of large corporations.” I thought, what better way to show SumOfUs.org that I could help them to run those campaigns in Canada than to run an online campaign aimed at convincing them to  hire me?

And so here we are. I’ve built this site to act as an online job application. I’m running a live campaign to promote the site using my email networks, Facebook, and Twitter. And the site houses a petition that I’m urging people to sign to help me make my case to SumOfUs.org.

Life is a series of decisions. Right now, the decision about who to hire as their new Canadian Campaign Manager sits with SumOfUs.org. Our job is to present them with a strong enough argument that only one choice makes sense.
