Is this debate going to sway anyone? No one that I know, anyway. It might be good viewing from a comedic standpoint, but no one's going to learn anything about either candidate that we don't already know.
There is no amount of money that could have transformed the cinderblock cube I lived in. That said, doing that stuff at a mostly commuter college in Chicago would get you laughed off the campus.
I’m nowhere near an expert on insurance, but it seems to me that having a known, unremediated hazard, like an unsecured firearm, in your house might make it uninsurable.
This brings to mind the days of my youth, before the Cook County Forest Preserve golf courses had a reservation system. My brother and I would go to the course, pay our greens fee, and wait a couple of hours for our number to be called.
"Since the game was already a 52-0 blowout after two quarters, they agreed to shorten the third and fourth quarters to ten minutes each. I didn’t know you could do that."
I read 5 minutes each, for a total of 10. What even is the point of scheduling an opponent like that? If you want to give them money, just cut a check, and play a real team.
High school football season starts Friday here in IL, and that means I'll be starting my 33rd (and probably last) season as an official. The crew is hoping to get a championship assignment Thanksgiving weekend, so we have a lot riding on our performance. As always, the goal is to throw no flags all season (and, to stay with the theme, avoid an injury necessitating an MRI).
Other than that, I have jack squat planned. Have a great long weekend, all.
"...Zionism and Israel that presents Zionism as a form of settler-colonialism rather than as Jewish self-determination."
I made this point in an earlier discussion thread, but I think at this point Zionism doesn't really, IMHO, serve any purpose. If you want to move to Israel, it's just emigration. Taking over land that doesn't really belong to you is rightfully called colonialism.
I'm gonna guess every AG has had a Playboy subscription. ;-)
Seriously, however, it looks like it's been used to prosecute kiddie porn cases. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comstock_Act_of_1873#Contemporary_enforcement
There are plenty of laws on the books that are never enforced. Having something like this lurking around, waiting for to be used for selective prosecution, is why people have disdain for government.
I was over visiting my best man in Dundee and we drove up the coast to do some sightseeing and we ended up in Stonehaven for lunch. We went to The Bay for fish and chips and it was fantastic. A selection of fish and how you wanted it breaded, which I'd never seen before. If you get back, I highly recommend it.
On “Watch And React Live: The Harris Trump Debate”
I would pay money to watch DJT free associate.
"
I went over to r/conservative on Reddit. DJT is killing over there.
"
Was it? I didn't hear anything.

I actually started laughing when Trump talked about firing all of the officials who wrote books about what a terrible executive Trump was.

On “Apalachee Killer’s Father Now Charged”
I’m not sure how that applies.

There are a lot more bad things that can happen with an unsecured firearm. I agree that school massacres are a vanishingly small percentage of these.

It ought to be a homeowner's insurance thing.

Every thread on Reddit where the guy wants to open the marriage up ends up with him regretting it and her getting tons of new partners.

I'm amazed it's that high. Got a source?
