    1. What is it with hovercrafts today?

No, I never did, I vaguely thought they were some kind of second-wave trip-hop band that had collaborated with Eddie Vedder, which never enticed me into listening.

This is not what I expected at all. I like it! Reminds me of something, but I can’t figure out what.Report

“I stumped the Glyphman! I stumped the Glyphman!”

  1. Recently I scored about 60 VHS tapes from a university library that were being thrown out by the cultural studies department: Bergman, Rosselini, tons of Dreyer, Hitchcock, noir, and silent classics. I have a VHS player, but I still keep thinking whatever will I do with these movies after I watch them?Report

    1. If you dig this, you might like Pye Corner Audio. Also, Spotify has some of the John Carpenter scores that used to be really hard to get hold of, like Escape From NY and Assault on Precinct 13.Report
