Tuesday Morning Jukebox – More about babies
Since we have a bit of a Jukebox theme going, I thought I’d share two songs relating to my own young’uns…
Glynis…
…and Scarlet.

So weird – “Scarlet” came up on shuffle the other day and I was thinking A.) What a pretty piece of music it is and B.) How much it sounds like Joy Division’s “Atmosphere” (not shocking, as U2 were big JD fans and briefly worked with Martin Hannett).Report
Scarlet has always reminded me of Atmosphere, too.
Fun fact: a good friend of mine made me promise that Atmosphere get played at his funeral. Naturally, I agreed. I hope is wife is ok with that.
Thanks for the link. I’m going to check out that interview when I havea chance.Report
If the wife objects, just make it clear that “Atmosphere” should be played at *all* funerals. For a while, I wanted both that, and U2’s “Bad” (the live version from the Wide Awake In America EP) played at mine.
Now, I may just go with “The Humpty Dance”.Report
Good choice.
Our resident doctor has an affinity for The Humpty Dance, also. Maybe he’d like it played at his funeral.Report
