  1. So the short answer is that busing doesn’t really work.

    The logic behind busing has always been that the lower income students benefit from simply being around kids of higher income and also that the parents of the higher income students, who are assumed to be involved with the school, become defacto advocates for the lower income students.

    In light of this study, what is the answer? Do we increase minimum wage? Subsidize lower-income families? How do we mitigate the effects of poverty on children?Report

    Increasing minimum wage is a Republican argument now. The people most in favor of it are Roboticists.
    There will NEVER be a real increase in minimum wage, now that we have ever increasing competition from robots.Report
