Just a suggestion, mind you. I’m not sure which software you’re using to work with your images but you might want to look at a pincushion filter to eliminate some of your lens distortion. Gimp is good at this task but all the major editing tools have this facility.Report
How do you know I didn’t *add* pincushion distortion to the image? 😉Report
Here’s my trick. When I’m working with a lens I know will create some distortion, I compose the frame with a big margin. These days, with images coming out of the camera so large, eleventy-dozen megapixels, cropping is no big deal.
So when I apply the pincushion filter, there’s room to crop it back to square.Report
