January Jones fat suit was noticeable and off putting. She is also preggers so some of her weight gain is natural, but some of it just looked bad.
The slow addition of a black and Jewish character makes complete sense given the time. At some point excluding those kind of characters would be a ridiculous omission. I’m not sure how big those characters are going to be. I think they will be side characters who may slowly build in importance. They will be there just enough to cause cringe inducing moments among the rest of the staff. I think the focus is on work/life balance and seeing how the relationships we already know will proceed. Good episode.

I loved the big reveal, after Harry’s been eating away and Don’s complaining and trying like hell to get him out of the car, that it’s a bag of sliders. Because then — it really makes sense.Report
Good episode, it reminds me why I love Peggy, but I’ve very sad they seem to be spending the season making me regret wishing for more screen time for Harry during the previous four seasons.
It’s clear that the modern world has started to arrive at SCDP, but how Don (and the show) is going to go with it, I have no idea.Report
