One thing I didn't like about Dishonoed was that it gave you all sorts of toys and abilities, then "punished" you for actually using them. The low chaos path was a bit boring. It would have been nice if there were more non-lethal options.
Given that Clinton, if elected, would be the second oldest president, and that Sanders is even older, I would think they would be looking at a more youthful VP. But, if Bernie keeps the young voters excited, the combined age of the ticket may not matter.
I don't necessarily think that only violent criminals should go to jail or that jail should necessarily be the first resort in the case of violent crime. I know nothing about the players, including whether or not they have a history of violent acts. It seems to me there are other alternatives before reaching the point of sending them to jail. Such as restitution, suspended sentences, community service, fines, etc., along with later sealing their juvenile records (assuming they're currently still under 18).
I'm not necessarily saying you're wrong, but with both the highest incarceration rate and the highest prison population, I think the US really needs to rethink its criminal justice system.
And not just the direct punishment (which I think needs signficant change), but also the lingering effects and (lack of) reintegration into society. Is the "greater good" served if these players wind up a net drain on society?
Should we, as a society, just complete write off those two young men now? Give them felony convictions and send them to prison instead of finishing high school, all but guaranteeing them dismal job prospects for the rest of their lives?
I bought a new video card and received a key for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. I played the original Metal Gear way back when on NES (not sure if I completed it, though, it was a friend's copy), but haven't played another in the series. I would have preferred the Arkham Knight key they were originally offering, but it had already been pulled from Steam when I made my purchase.
I found the prologue to be excruciating. It's no exaggeration to say that for 20 full minutes you're limited to only watching cut-scenes, moving the camera, and crawling in a straight line. It takes a good hour to get through the prologue and to the game itself. The game itself is good, but I'm not much of a fan of stealth games. And knowing what little I know of the MGS storyline, I'm not finding the protagonist to be a very sympathetic character.
I've been playing the finally released android version of Fallout Shelter. I really don't care too much for the 'do a little bit then wait a really long time to do a little bit more' mechanic popular on mobile games. I do wish now, though, there was a full Fallout base-building strategy game. I could easily imagine an X-Com style Brotherhood of Steel game.
I remember being pleasantly surprised by the Buck Rogers games. I ended up enjoying them very much. It's a shame them and the Dragonlance games aren't available, but I would assume there's licensing issues involved.
About a year or so ago I realized my George Costanza sized wallet wasn't really working for me. I ended up switching to a non-folding ID wallet. It has enough room for my license and a couple cards and not much else. The store loyalty programs I use let you enter a phone number in lieu of scanning a card (I don't even bother with the keychain variety). Once I got myself out of the "I might need this someday" hoarder mentality I found I didn't really miss the old, bulky wallet.
I suspect Fox will hammer Trump over the next several days over his refusal to pledge to support the GOP candidate and not run as an independent if he doesn't get the nomination.
Topher Grace (of That 70's Show) apparently edited all the prequels down to a single 85 minute film, and those who have watched it claim it's pretty good. I haven't been motivated enough to actually try and seek it out.
I stumbled across an explaination of Mulholland Drive sometime last week and decided to watch it again yesterday. My only other viewing of the movie was probably a at least a decade ago, so I don't remember how much I understood back then, other than a typcial Lynchian WTF feeling. I'm sure it made more sense this go around, aided by the interpretations of others, than I was able to puzzle out on my own.
On “Weekend!”
I got pretty far in (I think), but never did finish the main storyline. I hope I still have my save game lying around somewhere...
On “Linky Friday #132: Showtime!”
It wouldn't be good for responsible governance, but Speaker Gohmert would be an endless source of comedy.
On “On To Germany… Or Somewhere?”
Perhaps they're using American generocity towards Central American refugees as their model.
On “The Value of Diluting your Brand”
Or you move Chinese labor to Italy.

The players should have accused the ref of messing with Texas. They seem to take that very seriously down there.

James Hansen. By the end of the century, I believe the effects of climate change will overshadow and impact other political issues.

I didn't even know Nixon was running.

I don't think Jeb will "win" the nomination so much as be the last one standing who hasn't lost it. Like Mitt.
On “Arby’s to Vegetarians – Eat My Meat”
"I don’t know if I would deliberately troll people like that"
I assume it's being done to court the "You're vegetarian? I'll eat twice as much meat, then" crowd.
On “The Value of Playing with Commercially Produced Toys”
It's uncertain.
Intresting book. I have idly wondered if it would be beneficial to introduce concepts that adults find difficult to young children.
