Is it just me, or does this drawing style seem more refined than the style that would be the norm in the 1920s?Report
This was 1907 and Little Nemo started in 1905… So I’m guessing that he was inadvertently using Windsor McCay’s style as the thing he was competing against. By the time the 20’s rolled around, he was his own dude and used his own voice and that was sufficient.
But 20 years earlier? He was in a competition.Report
