Friday Night Jukebox: Some Ambient
Be patient. It grows. And grows. And GROWS:
Also, it’s one of my favorite tracks for distance running. I could literally put it on infinite repeat and run until my lungs collapsed. That’d be a majestic way to go.
Update: Even if the video is regrettable.Report
Is it more or less regrettable than the movie itself?Report
Less regrettable. The video has much better music.Report
I have seen the boat sink 3 times (back when I had HBO and the movie was on HBO). That’s about 17 minutes of the movie? I have no idea if the rest of it is as bad as I hear, but I’m avoiding it on principle.Report
I shoulda posted some TV on the Radio anyway, because their new album is excellent.Report
I came home from my part-time job at a pizza restaurant one day in junior high school to find my sister watching the boat sink with her friend. Obviously I wasn’t as emotionally invested as they were; I started laughing hysterically when that guy falls off and hits the propeller complete with a loud *DONG*. My sister flipped out at me.Report
How about this?

I’ve been listening to a lot of ambient music recently, especially Tangerine Dream and Shpongle (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o1jPeG1LlaQ). Gregorian is pretty good (if I’m in a silly mood): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YMUxqbxzRY8Report
