LF11: The Parthenon, the Forbidden City Temple, and otherwise exactly one building from before the 20th century. Presentism much? Also note how few of the descriptions discuss the use of the interior. My cynical response to artsy architecture is to wonder about the climate control and whether the roof leaks. Fallingwater inevitably makes the list. They neglected to mention that Wright got the design, with all that cantilevering, wrong. Because math. They had to go back and fix it later.Report
