Week in Review: Week 14
Thunderlips won, Miss Mary Lost, Warriors won (What?), Vikings’ ship sunk. Freaks, Weaks, Squeaks and Meeks. Cecil only had two teams right. Blah, blah, blah…. It’s playoff time! PLAYOFFS!!!!! pppllllllaaaaaayyyyyyyOOOOOFFFFFSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ppplllaaayyyoooffffsssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, and Nu talked with people if you care. PLAYOFFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nu: Good win coach.
Dman: Do you hear that?
Nu: What?
Dman: I think someone is yelling. PPPPLPLLLLAAAAYYYYYOOOOOFFFFSSSS!!!!!
Nu: I guess that says it all. I’m out.
Nu: Your last game a disappointment, coach?
Jaybird: Before I played my first game was I tied. After I played my last game was I tied.
Nu: Blessed be the something something?
Jaybird: The variance, Nu. The variance.
Nu: You left a handful of points on the bench…
Jaybird: It’s less relevant if your opponent left even more on his own.
Nu: I suppose “woulda coulda shoulda” swings both ways in that case.
Jaybird: Indeed.
Nu: Any ideas for next year?
Jaybird: That Osweiler cat seems like he’d make a decent Fantasy QB someday. And, you know, maybe…
Nu: If they didn’t get him this year, they won’t get him next year, Jaybird.
Jaybird: I know. But… maybe…
Nu: Well, we’ll see how everybody does once they’re in the playoffs.
Jaybird: Keep ’em crossed for me.
