Best anti-penny rant of all time?
This is quite brilliant (via):
Besides, for the people who do inexplicably love pennies, think how much more their penny collections will be worth in a world that no longer mints them?

Wait…
People still use coins and paper?!Report
Living in a state with no sales tax, my hatred of the penny has grown exponentially. Since everything still costs x.99, that means that there are always – and often only – pennies left over. An extra penny for everything you’re purchasing. At least with sales tax you get a wide mix of leftovers. No sales tax, little variety. The result is that the take-a-penny-leave-a-penny is overflowing at most convenience stores.
Down with the penny!
I am not certain that we should not do away with all coinage but the quarter, though increments of 10 may be easier than increments of four.Report
