    According to the PPIC poll, a majority of Latinos either weren’t familiar with Harris (30 percent) or disapproved over her (26 percent).. Another 43 percent of approved of her performance as senator.

    This is a quite unusual way of framing this result. Normally, those numbers would be “has net favorables of 17 points”.Report

    Unrelated, but also on Friday the US District Court for the Southern District of California declared California’s ban on high capacity magazines unconstitutional, saying “California Penal Code § 32310 is hereby declared to be unconstitutional in its entirety and shall be enjoined.” (PDF of the ruling)Report
