Judge Who Sentenced Brock Turner Recalled by Voters
Superior Court Judge Aaron Persky became the first California judge to be recalled by voters in 86 years Tuesday. Persky, who drew controversy over his handling of the Brock Turner Rape case, had been on the bench since appointment in 2003 by then-Gov. Gray Davis.
