Knights in Tight Spaces
Back at the tail end of 2021, a really fun deckbuilder came out called “Fights in Tight Spaces”. I talked about it a couple of times and, holy cow. It was a good game that had interesting dynamics, interesting decks, and *TONS* of replayability. I played it, I beat it, I beat it again and… well. I didn’t need to play it anymore.
It was really good! It was also exactly as long as it needed to be.
I admit to not giving it a whole lot of thought since putting it away but, just this week, I saw the announcement of the free demo for “Knights in Tight Spaces“.
Wait, what? Yep. It’s a sequel that takes place in a fantasy universe. If you’ve played Fights, almost everything will be immediately recognizable to you.
Start off by picking your fighter:
And learning about their deck:
Get into a fight against nameless dudes:
After you win the fight, pick a new card:
And then pick your path on the map:
It’s all coming back to me.
Now, there is one main thing that they’ve added to the game making it just a little bit more than a simple reskin. They’ve added associates. You no longer have to fight all by your lonesome. You can pick up friends along the way and fight as a team:
Now, it’s just the demo at this point. The whole game has a release date of “coming soon” and goodness only knows when that is.
That said, hey. The demo is free. Who doesn’t like free? If you liked Fights in Tight Spaces, you should pick this up. And if you never played Fights in Tight Spaces, I can totally recommend that you pick that up.
So… what are you playing?
