One of the things the pandemic has done in is our local fencing tournaments. The holiday events always drew large fields: the Overeaters Open on Saturday after Thanksgiving and the Hangover Open on Jan 1. At least for the Hangover, I knew people who had quit drinking on New Year’s Eve because they wanted to do well in the tournament. With a large field there was a better chance to improve their rating.Report

We ordered dinner from a local restaurant. $150 for dinner for 4 and all the trimmings, plus 2 bottles of wine. All I had to make was whipped cream for the pumpkin pie.

Easy for us, and we support a local business.Report
