One of the things that was observed years ago was that US military recruitment ads almost never show ‘combat’, at most going to highly stylized action cutscenes, or like that Marine Ad years ago with the fire monster, almost a literal comic book version of it. (But which in turn were assessed to be slightly more effective than more common job training / money for college themed ads)Report
That is an incredibly good ad, one that appeals to service and ‘we are all in this together’ rather than ego and ‘what do I get out of it’. Sadly, that makes me wonder if it would work here…Report
