So be it. He's got no argument. The language of the Constitution (again) is plain. There is no signature requirement.
You think DJT personally signed all of the insurrectionist pardons?
"
First of all, is this just Trump bloviating at 0300 or is he actually offering some evidence.
Secondly, yes.
If he has evidence of a crime, he should produce it and have the offender charged.
"
Here are the qualifications for holding the office:
"No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States."
Here is the pardon language: "...he shall have Power to grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offences against the United States..."
The language is unequivocal. Calling plain language "controversial" is nonsensical.

Hear, hear for fried mozzarella!
Just tell yourself you're eating at a small plate place. You order a bunch of appetizer sized entrees at those places, and after 2 or 3 you're full. It's much fancier to tell it like that.
On “Open Mic for the week of 3/17/25”
As far as I know there's no bar to a presidential pardon in the Constitution.

There exists Jewish state and it ain't going anywhere.

Ya know, if the Trump administration wants to get into the university administration business, I daresay they could get Congress to pass an appropriation for setting a college up.
"
There’s no other way to explain that vote.
"
I could see that if the students getting the funding were also the ones causing the trouble, but I doubt that's the case.
Let's just call a spade a spade. The offending students were speechifying about something the Trump administration doesn't like, so the funding was yanked. There have been plenty of other threats to do the same where the only "crime" was occupying the quad.
"
Porque no los dos? Also, why does the U.S. government care if Columbia students shut down Columbia's campus?
"
F*ck Dick Durbin. That relic needs to fade into well-deserved obscurity.

These damn nitwits are getting outwitted by some of the dumbest people to ever occupy the seats of power of this nation. I contacted my 2 senators and urged them to vote no. FFS.

He even came to Chicago, where he infamously pissed off a bunch of black journalists. Which was probably the whole reason. All I know is he f'ed up traffic on Lower Wacker something good.

Heh. Easily the grossest movie I've ever seen.

I completely agree with you. The problem America has is 2-fold, in my opinion.
First, the Electoral College disenfranchises a huge swath of the American electorate. Blue voters in red states and red voters in blue states may as well stay home. Because of its continued existence, America is teetering on, if it's not already there, permanent minority rule. When was the last 50 state presidential campaign?
Second, the House is too small, resulting in a sclerotic Dem/Rep division of the spoils. State legislatures can gerrymander districts to get the outcomes the controlling parties like, resulting in relatively few competitive seats. When this country was founded each representative had about 60,000 people in his district. Today, it's nearly 700,000. Who's going to be responsive to that many people?
"
In normal times, "I'm not Donald Trump." ought to net you exactly 100% of the electorate. Alas, we live in more interesting times.

Oh, all the way. Couldn't get any further.

"As the Office of Personnel Management oversaw the layoffs of thousands of federal workers and pressed others to justify their positions, the agency’s chief spokesperson repeatedly used her office for a side hustle: aspiring Instagram fashion influencer."

Get in line, buddy.

Hope springs eternal.
Besides, Koz is probably about as close as I’m ever going to get to a Trump true believer. He’s kind of interesting.

"I dunno, it seems pretty clear to me. I support the President retaliating against Perkins Coie for its misconduct against the best interest of America."
I'll bet you can do better than this.

Anyone have a guess what "layout" means in this context? The Googs isn't cooperating.
