The reason why I tend to be pissed off a lot more about anti-Semitism from the DEI people and Intersectionalists or really the left in general is that it comes across more as rank betrayal. The White Right and Islamists can't help themselves but for the DEI sect, Jews were some of the most passionate advocates for pluralism and multi-culturalism in the word but the current advocates for DEI think that Jews are nothing more than white people with pretensions and that "Jews Don't Count."

I think that Israel should just leave the West Bank but I emotionally don't like the idea of the Palestinians getting rewarded for decades of obstinance, stupidity, and terrorism. Despite not winning any battle, their leadership has always demanded maximum victory with an arrogance that is beyond belief that is reinforced by their vile allies across Islam and in other radical communities.

The entire moment is pissing me off. Jews are supposed to say how wonderful these self-congratulatory DEI conferences are and how bad we are for oppressing the Palestinians. In return, we get an antipathetic dismissive tolerance at best or treated as wypipo cosplaying as a group with a culture of our own at worse. They are all utterly horrible.

Plenty of people still call the aftermath of Israel War's for Independence ethnic cleansing while ignoring the Arab states kicking out all their Jews. I've heard cries that the Palestinian refugees, or really their descendants must return, while all the Jews need to leave the Middle East even if Mizrahi.

That might be the case but this type of moaning existed since Israel was founded. Going on an on about the Palestinians while ignoring what happened to Jews in continental Europe and the Middle East/North Africa has been the norm for decades.

There have been more people killed in the Syrian Civil War and Yemen Civil War since 2011 than the entire I/P conflict but all the Pro-Palestinian people go around like the I/P conflict is the worst thing that ever happened in human history. I wonder why.

Why do people who keep accusing Israel of "ethnic cleansing" at any time in it's history don't seem to have any issue with the rest of the Middle East giving their Jews the boot? It tends to be overlooked in the name of "anti-colonialism" and Jews are just supposed to take it on the chin as communities hundreds or thousands of years old get destroyed over night. And don't say that the Mizrahi Jewish communities would have been fined but for the creation of Israel. The rest of the non-Muslims and even the wrong types of Muslims aren't doing fine in the Middle East either.

Tablet started off as an interesting Jewish online magazine whose politics reflected standard American Jewish politics. The editors eventually started leaning right but also knew the politics of most American Jews so controlled themselves. It looks like they decided to go full into the far right edge of American Jews.

Currently we are facing the liberal society paradox where a liberal society faces threats so great that an illiberal response is necessary.

Republicans in the House voted against Trump's own preferred CR bill. That's dysfunctional.

I think the hope was that by "humanizing the homeless", people would have a but for the Grace of God go I moment and vote for generous welfare provisions and social services. That did not happen. And yes, certain sections of the left took to a rather strong defense of visible disorder.

They out number the global population of Jews in the United States alone, so that isn't much of a consolidation.

There have also been credible reports of teachers taking it upon themselves to do teach ins about the I/P conflict that are basically "Zionism is settler-colonialism" rather than an actual honest history of the Zionist movement and what it was responding to and trying to do. I do not see these people as mere people on the internet but people who are educating people and basically keeping out the Jewish perspective of what happened.

I really doubt that many of these types could tell you how many Jews are there and how many of them live in Israel.

Republicans in Congress seem to be willing to shut down the government for no reason other than Trump is opposed to the continuing resolution. I'd say that the Republicans are not waking up.

I don't know. They seem to be on a march to me. Jews have been explaining to them with great patience on what they seem to the shortcomings of intersectionality towards Jews for years before 10/7. Nothing seems to get them to pause and reconsider things.

If anything they seem to be at lost worse after 10/7/ Lots of reports from public and private schools of teachers doing some very ideological and without context teachings of the I/P movement that completely ignore the conditions that led to Zionism in the first place. The identarians keep getting caught doing some really embarrassing things in public. The University of Michigan's DEI chief was just fired for basically saying "Jews Don't Count" at DEI conference. Meanwhile, a DEI conference for private schools, ended up doing a lot of anti-Semitism and saying that "Israel was founded on racist principles" while apparently Arab and Muslim states are fine under DEI principles.

These people do not understand how hypocritical they seem to everybody not remotely sympathetic towards them. They have the groups they believe are the wretched of the earth and everybody else can pound sand.
